The written exam is divided into four sections:
1. General English (30 marks) – topics include grammar, comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, and sentence improvement.
2. General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30 marks) – Indian polity, history, geography, economics, science & technology, and recent national/international events.
3. Teaching Aptitude (30 marks) – teaching methods, classroom management, educational psychology, assessment techniques, and communication skills.
