The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) invites online applications for Combined Examinations 2026 to fill 911 vacancies across four posts: Legal Assistant, Assistant Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Civil), and Grade-II (GNCTDSS)/Assistant Section Officer in various Delhi government departments. Educational qualifications vary from a Bachelor's degree in Law or Civil Engineering to any Bachelor's degree. Section A covers General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, Test of English Language & Comprehension. Section B for Legal Assistant covers Law; for Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Civil) covers Civil Engineering; for Grade-II (GNCTDSS)/Assistant Section Officer covers General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, English Language and comprehension, Computer Proficiency (Tier-I) and descriptive essay/expansion of ideas, letter/application writing, precis writing (Tier-II).
Selection is based on Computer Based Examination marks, normalized if required. Merit list prepared category-wise. For Two Tier posts, Tier-I is qualifying; Tier-II marks determine final merit. For One Tier posts, marks from both sections determine merit. Document verification and e-dossier scrutiny by user department. Final allocation based on merit-cum-preference.
Candidates must satisfy eligibility as on cut-off date (25/03/2026). Only online registration allowed; one registration per candidate. Upload recent clear colour photograph with plain white/off-white background. No gadgets allowed in exam hall. Follow dress code: light clothes with half sleeves, slippers/sandals with low heels, shoes not allowed. Provide correct email and mobile number. No change/correction in application form after submission. Candidates advised to submit application well before closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
Photo identity proof (PAN/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport) scanned jpg/jpeg 15-60 KB; recent clear colour photograph; mobile number and email ID; optionally Aadhaar.
Register on DSSSB portal https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Login with user ID/password. Fill online application form, upload documents, pay fee via SBI e-pay (₹100, exempt for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/women). Submit before 25/03/2026 11:59 PM. Ensure correct details; no changes after submission.
