The Export‑Import Bank of India (India Exim Bank) has announced recruitment for 40 Management Trainee (Banking Operations) posts for the year 2026. The bank is looking for fresh graduates and post‑graduates who have a minimum of 60% marks in their graduation, or a post‑graduation degree (MBA, PGDBA, PGDBM, MMS) with a specialization in Finance, International Business or Foreign Trade, or a qualified Chartered Accountant. The age limit for candidates is 21 to 28 years as on 31 December 2025, with relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules. Eligibility for Recruitment for India Exim Bank Management Trainee 2026 exam:

ESSENTIAL ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

Minimum 60% aggregate marks / equivalent
Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA), in
Graduation. The graduation course should be of a
minimum 3-year full time duration.

Post Graduation (MBA / PGDBA / PGDBM / MMS) with
specialization in Finance / International Business /
Foreign Trade or Chartered Accountant (CA). Post
Graduation course should be of a minimum 2-year
full time duration, with a specialization in Finance
with minimum 60% aggregate marks / equivalent
CGPA. In case of CA, passing the professional
examination is sufficient. Membership of ICAI is
mandatory.

Candidates who have appeared / appearing for the
final examination in Post Graduation or Chartered
Accountancy to be held during January 2026 and are
expecting their results in the year 2026 are eligible
to apply. Membership of ICAI may be submitted on
passing of professional examination.

The University / Institute should be recognised /
approved by Government / AICTE / UGC. The
candidates having completed their graduation and
postgraduation courses through
correspondence/part-time/open university/open
learning/external/distance learning are not eligible.



ELIGIBILITY:



• Candidates who have appeared in their final qualifying examinations and
waiting for the results are eligible to appear for the written examination. However,
the offer to join the Bank shall be subject to production of necessary documents
evidencing successfully obtaining the requisite qualification by June 01, 2026, or
joining date as prescribed by the Bank (whichever is later). The date mentioned
on their degree / final marksheet shall be reckoned for arriving at their eligibility
within the specified timelines, i.e., June 01, 2026.

• Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and should be
proficient in the use of computers and information technology.

• Candidates from Universities / Institutes awarding degrees based on ratings
/ grades other than numerical marks (i.e. CGPA/GPA/any other form), may please note that if the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks is not mentioned in the
mark sheet/certificate, candidates are required to furnish a letter from the head of
the Institute / Controller of Examination of the University, stating clearly, the
methodology of conversion of the grades into percentage (conversion formula)
and the numerical marks equivalent to their rating/grades.

• The University / Institute should be recognised / approved by Government /
AICTE / UGC. The candidates having completed their graduation and
postgraduation courses through correspondence/part-time/open university/open
learning/external/distance learning are not eligible.
