Marital Status: Candidates less than 25 years of age have to be unmarried.Married applicants above 25 years of age are eligible to use however will now no longer be provided married accommodation during training, and they cannot live with their family outside the premises.

Officers' Training Academy (OTA) - SSC Course for Men:
Gender: Male candidates only
Age: Candidates must be unmarried males born between July 2, 1999, and July 1, 2005.

Officers' Training Academy (OTA) - SSC Women Non-Technical Course:
Gender: Unmarried women, issueless widows who've now no longer remarried, and issueless divorcees (in ownership of divorce documents) who've now no longer remarried are eligible.
Age: Candidates must be unmarried women born between July 2, 1999, and July 1, 2005.
